Coming soon to iOS and Android

The mission taught you to plan. Keep it.

You spent 18 to 24 months living the most effective planning system you will ever be handed: plan the week, work the plan, review the numbers, adjust. Then you got released, and the system stayed behind. RM Life is that loop rebuilt for real life: a weekly planner and goal tracker built by a returned missionary, for returned missionaries.

Nobody warns you

The hardest part of coming home is Tuesday afternoon

Release day deletes the whole scaffold at once. If any of these have crossed your mind lately, you are not broken, and you are not alone. The system is just missing.

The schedule is gone

"On the mission I was up at 6:30 every single day. Now I cannot get out of bed before 8, and I do not know why."

The companion is gone

"No one has asked me about my goals once since I got home. I do better at everything when someone can see me doing it."

The numbers are gone

"If I could see my week the way I saw my numbers out there, I would fix it. I fixed it every single week on the mission."

These are composite voices from research with returned missionaries, not user testimonials. If they sound like your head, this page is for you.

The system, rebuilt

Weekly planning, key indicators, and a companion. For real life.

Weekly planning is back

A guided weekly planning flow walks you through the week ahead and puts your goals onto a real calendar, in minutes. Two-way Google Calendar sync means classes and shifts are already there.

The four areas you grew up with

Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual. Set goals in each, and watch your progress build from what you actually did, like key indicators for your real life.

The week reports itself

Check off completed events with one tap. Save the gym, campus, or the temple, and visits log themselves. Hours by category show where the 168 hours went.

A companion for your goals

Add a friend, share a goal, let someone see the numbers. Propose calendar events to each other. Accountability by design, not by vibes.

Grace, built in

Room to have a bad week

You have enough guilt. The app is not allowed to add more: a bad Wednesday cannot total the week, misses are shown as information with a next step, and every new week offers a fresh start. Plan, live, review, adjust. You already know this loop. You lived it every week for two years.

The app you actually miss

Looking for a Preach My Gospel app for returned missionaries?

A lot of people find RM Life by searching for the Preach My Gospel app, or for the Area Book Planner by its old name, about three weeks after they get home. The official app is for assigned full-time missionaries, and access ends with the assignment. There is a page here that lays out exactly what carries over, what does not, and how the nine-step weekly planning session works in RM Life.

You already know how to do this

You did it every week for two years. RM Life is in development for iOS and Android. Leave your email and you get one message the day the system is back in your hands.
